  • Have you ever had a “black out”, or forgotten the things that you did during your drinking?

  • Do you ever drink more than you plan to on a regular basis?

If you drink too much in one period it is considered binge drinking. For women, that means more than four drinks in a short period of time, or five or more for men. Binge drinking can lead to many things, including alcohol poisoning and death.

Signs And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

There are many signs and symptoms of alcoholism, some of them the same as signs of drug abuse. People who neglect their responsibilities could be showing signs of addiction. They may neglect work, responsibilities at home, or even having issues with school.

If you, or someone you love, seems to have drastically changed and no longer goes to work or school, seems to be neglecting their spouse or children, and all because they are too busy getting a drink, it’s time to do something about it.
